Timothy "Tim" Joseph Summers, age 58 of Stow, passed away in his home, surrounded by his loved ones on September 8, 2021.

Tim was born on July 7, 1963 in Clarksburg, West Virginia to Joseph and Louella (Edwards) Summers. He served as a SGT in the US Army for 6 years as a Lance Missile Technician and traveled overseas, including to Germany and Korea. Tim worked for Roadway/YRC Teamster, Local 24, as a dock worker for 30 plus years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Tim enjoyed raising his two children, and three grandchildren, and teaching them all about hunting.

He is survived by his parents, loving wife of 24 years, Janet, children, Jamie Novak, and Jeromy (Rikki) Sparks, grandchildren, Caleb Summers, Timothy "TJ" Summers, and Lliam Klosterman, sister, Sherri (David) Craddock, niece, Hannah (Jim) Long, close friends and hunting buddies, Ralph Fagen and Dave Richmond, and loved by multiple aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Friends and family may come to call on Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 12-2 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home in Akron. A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m.
