In Memory Of
Emerson Owen
1998 - 2021

On the afternoon of Thursday, July 29, 2021 Emerson "Em" Owen passed away unexpectedly in Macedonia, Ohio. Emerson was 22 years old.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Tim Peterman.

Emerson was born on December 16, 1998 in Orrville, Ohio and was the second of three children born to Christopher Owen and Michele Moore.

He was a very proud father. His 3 year old daughter Penelope "Penny" brought him lots of joy. Emerson enjoyed spending quality time with Penny and watching her grow. He would have her "help" him when he worked on his truck and took pride in passing on his knowledge to his young daughter. Emerson was also an avid "gearhead" and loved turning wrenches from a young age. He enjoyed rebuilding old cars, and continuously upgrading his Dodge pickup. Shortly after high school he went into diesel mechanics to pursue his love of working on cars. He could spend hours talking about motors, transmissions; anything car related to anyone who would listen.

Emerson will be greatly missed by his daughter, Penelope Owen; parents, Christopher (Julie) Owen, Michele (Harry) Moore; grandparents, Kenneth and Margaret Owen, Marie Peterman; siblings, Aaron, Alex, Christian, LeighAnn (Donnie), Amanda; step-siblings, Erin, Stephen, Michael, Brett (Josie), Matthew, Ciera, Lilly; other family members and friends.

Family and friends are invited to visit Thursday, August 5, 2021 from 2 to 3 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The memorial service will immediately follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
