In Memory Of
Adam Craig Campbell
1938 - 2021
He was born April 19, 1938, the son of the late John J and Margaret Campbell.
He was preceded in death by his brother, James and his beloved wife, Judy Ann, who passed just eleven months ago.
Adam graduated from East High School in 1957. He worked for RC Cola for 33 years and the Summit County Sheriff Department for over 35 years.
Adam and Judy were married on Dad's 20th birthday. They were married for 62 years.
He is survived by his five children: Stephen (Toni), John (Lisa), Scott (Renee), Brenda (Rick), and Jay J. (Marsha); ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Adam worked tirelessly to raise and support his family. He was a champion swimmer in school and life. He taught all his kids to swim. He rode a motorcycle when he was young and old. He owned boats and loved the water. He loved camping and traveling with Judy in later life. He loved his many cats throughout the years.
He was truly the patriarch of our family and we take solace in knowing that right now he is with our Mom in Heaven. Until we meet again - Dad, bye for now - We love you.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021 from 2-4 followed by a 4:00 p.m. funeral service with Rev. Glenn George and Rev. James Allshouse officiating at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron.
