She was born on February 26, 1930 in Akron, the daughter of the late Alen E. and Odessa (nee Tritt) Denny, she lived all of her life in Lakemore.
Maddie worked for the Springfield School System as a school bus driver for 17 years and at the FOP Lodge #7 for 13 years. She loved to play Bingo and slots.
Other than her parents, Madeline was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Bell; her son, Richard "Awol" Bell; and her brother, David Denny.
Madeline was raised by her late loving grandparents, Milo and Rhonda (nee Wilds) Tritt.
Survivors include her wonderful children, Jackie (David) Burkett, Robert Bell, Lou Ann Long, Donna Miller, Geneie (John) Chafe, Gene (Theresa) Bell and Fred (Dee) Bell; and her loving, wonderful, life-giving 21 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are her siblings, Cathleen Centofanti and Richard Denny.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 30, 2021 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, Ohio, where Pastor Kim Lawrence will celebrate Madeline's life.
Family and friends may visit on Thursday, July 29, 2021 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at the funeral home and again from 9:00 AM until the service begins on Friday.
