Michelle M. Meredith, "Mickie", age 70 of Akron, Ohio, died on July 15, 2021 at her home.
She was born on November 30, 1950 in Akron, the daughter of the late Dorothy Mae (nee McPeek) Sholley.
Mickie is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Richard "Dick" Meredith, whom she married on February 14, 1970; her children, Richard "Rick" Meredith II, Tina (Dean) Mates and Shawna (Douglas "Doug") Jackson; and four grandchildren, Megan, Henry, Tyler and Kiersten. Her sister also survives, Nadine.
Mickie was a retired baker after 35 years for Giant Eagle. She was also a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary Firestone VFW #3383.
Private services were held and all arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron.
