Robert "Bob" A. Weatherholt, 80, of Akron, OH, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at home with family. He retired from the Akron Fire Department after 27 years of service. Preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Judith; parents, Floyd A. and Rosie Weatherholt; brothers, Floyd Jr., Ricky, Ralph, Tony, Steve; mother of his children, Sally Weatherholt; and granddaughters, Nicole Cooper and Jaimie A. Witcraft.

He is survived by his children and their spouses, Robert Jr. and Georgia Weatherholt (Akron); Linda and Gary Thornton (Akron), Bruce and Angela Weatherholt (Sanford, FL), Brenda Weatherholt (Youngstown), Joseph and Jennifer Weatherholt (Akron); stepchildren, Todd and Laura Wallace (Cleveland), Tami Bridgeman (Green), Traci and Keith Kirsten (TX), Tari and Joseph Witcraft (TX); 14 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Carol (Tom) Reese (Tallmadge) and Mary Weatherholt (Jim Tisch) (Akron).

Visitation 4:00pm - 7:00pm on Wednesday, June 23 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, June 24. Interment at East Akron Cemetery to follow.
