He was born on March 10, 1960 in Alliance, the son of Bonnie (nee Puhl) Phillips, with whom he lived, and the late James Vernon Phillips.
Randy spent many years as a steel worker. He loved to fish, being outdoors and any motor sport.
In addition to his mother, Randy leaves to mourn his loss, his three children, Gregory Phillips, Amber Gould and Zachary (Leora) Phillips; his grandchildren, Liam, Maverick, Noah and Isabella Phillips and Malikai Hupp.
Also surviving are his siblings, Deborah Kline, Ronald (Aurie) Phillips, Deanna Burrier and Denise (Kurt) Penird.
Other than his father, Randall is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, John Burrier.
Memorial services will be held on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at 4:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, where Pastor Russell Gumm will celebrate Randy's life.
Family and friends may visit from 2:00 - 4:00 PM at the funeral home on Sunday.
