Joseph Grimaldi Sr., 95, of Ravenna, Ohio, passed away on June 4, 2021. He was born on March 19, 1926 near Pittsburgh to the late Sebastiano and Grace Grimaldi. He grew up as an inner-city kid in the Italian section of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, lied about his age to serve in World War II early, and fought as a U.S. Marine in the Pacific Theater. After military service, Joe worked as a dental technician for the the VA Hospital in Oakland, PA until his retirement. He loved and married one woman (May Rose) for 71 years, had two children (Joseph Jr. and Rose), was a proud Pap to five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
