Marsha Diane Jackson, 74, of Akron, passed away on April 29, 2021. Marsha was born in Akron on June 23, 1946 and raised her family in the area with her husband, William Bonham. After William's passing she eventually met and married Grant Jackson and they spent 20 years in Georgia building houses before returning to the Akron area.
Marsha loved the outdoors and could often be found by the lake, tending to her garden, and spending time with her beloved dog, ChiChi. She had many close friends in the neighborhood and enjoyed relaxing on the porch and visiting. Above all, she loved being a mother and grandmother. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
Marsha was preceded in death by her first husband, William Bonham; second husband, Grant Jackson; and son-in-law, Dwayne Mick.
She is survived by her daughters, Jill Mick and Kristi (Mike) Goodpasture; stepson, Justin Jackson; grandchildren, Kenneth Shively, William Shively, Samantha (Kenny) Spradling, David Bates, Stephanie Rickenbacker, Eric Goodpasture, and Michael Goodpasture; great-grandchildren, JJ, Alea, Michael, Alexis, Emilia, and Emmalyn; sister-in-law, Judy Bonham and nephews, Steven and Ronnie.
Marsha's family will privately celebrate her life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
