Mary Jane Hall, 73, born July 5, 1947, passed away April 8, 2021. Devoted wife of Thurstain. Loving mother of Mona (Ernie) Cross, Karen Dietz, and William (Shannon) Hall. Fun-loving grandmother of Kristine Weinschenk, Tiffany (Jeff) Ward, Michael J. Dietz, William Hall Jr., Matthew Hall, and Kaitlyn Hall. Adoring great-grandmother to Breeana Laird, Dean Laird, Hannah Laird and Sophia Parrott and Samuel Lee (8/17/21). Sister of David Gerstner, Barbara Kawczynski, and Kathy Carr.

Born in Buffalo, New York to Erwin Gerstner (deceased) and Constance (Braun) Gerstner (deceased). She retired from Penn Mutual Insurance and spent time on hobbies. She was an avid reader and passionate quilter. She enjoyed the challenge of a great crossword puzzle. She was the bright ray of sunshine to everyone she met. She had a radiant personality that let God’s love shine through her. She was kind, generous, and so incredibly loving. She was as close to God’s angel on Earth as there could ever possibly be.

She is now ready for her next destination in heaven. A graveside ceremony will take place Wednesday, April 14 at 11:00 a.m., at Rose Hill Burial Park, 3653 W. Market St., Akron, Ohio.
