Kimberly K. Adamson, 61, of Barberton, passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2021. She was born on June 12, 1959 in Akron, Ohio. Preceding her in death is her husband, Timothy Adamson, her parents Paul and Helen Wilborn, her brother Dale Wilborn, and her niece Danielle Hayman.

Left to cherish her memory are her 4 children, Katherine “Katie” Konkel, Dillion Adamson, Stormy Wilborn, and Rebecca Wilborn; grandchildren, Cheyenne, Autumn, Jadon, and Issac; Sister Sherry Wilborn, Brother Paul Wilborn; many nieces, nephews, other family, and many lifelong friends.

Kim loved to spend time with her family, especially at the holidays, and she loved to make a big deal out of each one. She had fun getting dressed up for the occasion. She enjoyed time with her pets, Bobo and Bubbles, and being outdoors to watch birds and squirrels. Gardening was also a passion and cooking with the fresh vegetables. She had the opportunity to travel and live in several places around the United States and liked to experience new things. She loved the ocean and the beach.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, OH from 1:00pm-3:00pm with a service at 3:00. A private committal service will be held by the family where she will be laid to rest at Mt. Peace Cemetery in Akron.
