Jeffrey Robert Van Houten, age 59, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021. He was born in Akron on February 16, 1962 to the late Robert D. and Lois {Zimmerson} Van Houten I.

In addition to his parents, Jeff was preceded in death by his brother James.

Jeff will be greatly missed by his son, Robert D. Van Houten II; brother Thomas (Deborah) Van Houten; many close friends.

Jeff was a die hard Browns fan, and also enjoyed watching the Cleveland Indians. He was loved dearly by many people, and was a wonderful friend in return. Jeff loved his kitties, George, Lola and Peewee. His greatest pride and joy was his son, Robby.

Per Jeff's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal services. A celebration of Jeff's life will be scheduled for a later date. To leave a message for Jeff's family, pleas scroll below.
