Geraldine Regina “Gerry”, “Gibby”, “GG”, Stevens (nee Streicher), passed away on January 8, 2021, at the age of 99.
A “True Rosie the Riveter”, Gerry built Corsairs at Goodyear Aero during WWII. Gerry retired from Rogers Mfg.
She was predeceased by her husband, Carl Stevens; son, James; son-in-law, Louis Luckmeier; brother, John Streicher; and sister, Kiki Nardone.
Gerry is survived by her children, Carl (Peggy) of Uniontown, Jean Luckmeier, of Copley and daughter-in-law, Becky Stevens of North Carolina; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and another one on the way; 4 great-great grandchildren.; sister Ann Ilg of Copley; brother Daniel Streicher of NY; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Cremation has taken place and she requested no services. Memorials can be made to the Salvation Army. She will be laid to rest at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
