Charles Edward Graham Jr., 66, of Atwater, passed away at home with his family by his side after a courageous two year battle with glioblastoma on January 6, 2021. Chuck was born in Akron on January 3, 1955 to the late Charles and Margaret Graham. He attended Springfield High School and proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He retired from Midwest Fabrications after 40 years of service. Chuck attended Faith United Methodist Church of Brimfield.
Chuck had many interests, including golfing, fishing, and spending time with his friends. His greatest love was his family. He was a wonderful husband, father, and Pap Pap to his eight grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and grandparents, Chuck was preceded in death by his grandson, Colton Charles Koons; father-in-law, Edd Young; and his grandmother-in-law, Jacqueline Spencer, who he helped care for. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 35 years, Angie; children, Chuck (Sandy) Graham, Jennifer (Harry) Koons, Stephanie (Garyn) Graham, and Joe Graham; siblings, Deborah Meekins, Rodney (Amy) Graham, Darlene (Todd) Welch, and John (Nancy) Graham; grandchildren, Davin, Zoee, Callie, Case, Lorelei, Colbie, and Chuckie; mother-in-law, Rita Young; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Family and friends may visit on Thursday, January 14, 2021 from 4-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Due to social gathering restrictions, Chuck's funeral service on Friday will be private and he will be laid to rest at Atwater Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Colton Charles Koons Memorial Fund to benefit SIDS Research or the Boiler Fund at Faith United Methodist Church of Brimfield.
