David John Yensen, a lifetime resident of Akron, Ohio, passed away November 18, 2020 at the age of 68 after a brave battle with Leukemia.
David was preceded in death by his grandparents, Chester and Laura Colegrove, and parents, Chester and Lois Yensen.
Left to cherish his memory are sister, Lori (Craig) Humphreys, nieces Carlie and Alyson Strittmatter, and nephew Caleb Humphreys.
David enjoyed fishing, billiards, spectating local racetracks, and spending time with loved ones.
The family would like to thank Summa Health Palliative Care and CareSource Teams, especially Lori, Christina, and Jill for their care and compassion.
Per David’s request, there are no services. A private gathering of immediate family will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg, Ohio, where he will be laid to eternal rest.
