R. Cris Conery, 64, of Ravenna, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at UH Hospital in Ravenna. She was born November 9, 1956 in Ravenna to Thomas and Winona Gay (Hughes) Young. Cris enjoyed cooking, baking, training dogs, horses and competing in Agility Trials. She loved spending summers at East Twin Lakes.
She graduated from the University of Findlay where she earned her degree in Equine Science. She was a vet technician at Banks and Beutel for many years.
Cris is survived by her husband, Dave, who she married on September 3, 1988; brother, Brad (Carol) Young; many cousins and extended family and friends. She also leaves her beloved dogs, Betty, Tillie, and Rory.
Cris has now joined her parents, Tom and Gay Young and her mother-in-law, Pat Spagnola.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no services per her request. There will be a celebration of life at a later date. Contributions may be made to the Youngstown All Breed Training Center to be used for a memorial bench in Cris's name.
