Patricia J. “Pat” Thomas, 72, of Akron, passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2020. She was born to parents Clyde C. and Myrtle I. (nee Kosner) Riggle, on March 22, 1948 in Canton, Ohio.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Deidre (John) Parsons, Dana (Rick) Pew, and Darla (Tim) Arnold; grandchildren, John Parsons, Tiffany Parsons, Mitchell Pew, Matthew Pew, Ryan Jones, Jesse Jones, and Aaron Jones; siblings, Butch (Charlene), Bill (Veronica) Riggle, Allison Riggle, Nathan Riggle and David Riggle; and other family members and friends.
Pat was a one-of-a-kind lady. She was very giving and caring, and loved her family very much. Pat was an animal lover, especially cats. She was also an incredible seamstress, and has been a seamstress ever since she was 15 years old. One of her favorite pastimes was sitting on her deck with a nice fire. She is dearly missed by all who knew her.
A celebration of Pat’s life will be held later by the family.
