Deborah L. Margroff, age 58 of Akron passed away at her home on Sunday, October 18, 2020. Debby was born in Akron on September 6, 1962, the daughter of Leo and Joanne {Hiltbrand} Hoffman.

Debby was a caring and compassionate soul, and loved spending time with her family, especially outdoors. She spent her retirement caring for her great-nieces and great-nephews, whom she loved dearly. Debby was exceptionally proud of her boys, Nick and Jake.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband and best friend, Ricky Margroff in 2017.

Debby will be dearly missed by her sons Nick and Jake; siblings Beth Ann Hoffman, Tim (Jill) Hoffman and Susan (Brad) Hrovat; siblings-in-law Greg and Mark Margroff; nieces and nephews Timmy (Stacy), Colleen (Luke), Mark (Hillary), Bryce (Alex) and Burke (Allie); Aunt Roberta & Uncle George Lasko; beloved great-nieces and great-nephews Haley, Brian, Quinn, Wesley, Clark, Laney and Remi; cousins, Bob Lasko, Chris & Abby Lasko, Doug & Mae Lasko and Rick Lasko.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Michael Klein and Mandy Martin for their compassionate care of Debby.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, October 24 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 2580 Berne St. Akron, OH 44312 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation an hour prior at the church. To leave a message for Debby's family, please scroll below.
