Doris Wise, 93, passed away October 9, 2020. Born in Canton, Ohio to Wayne and Alma (Johnson) Hocking, she was a lifelong Canton area resident. Doris enjoyed needlepoint, playing cards and poker with her friends, watching golf, college football and the Cleveland Indians as well as spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husband, Fred Wise; brother, Wally Hocking. She will be sadly missed by children, Michelle (Jim) Hurr, Doug (Ann) Wise; grandchildren, Danny (Jodi) Shultz, Brett (Kelly) Shultz, Matt (Casie) Shultz, Nicole (Mickey) Sabin, Matt (Jamie) Perry; 20 great grandchildren; sister in-law, Tootie Hocking; brother in-law, Bud Rankl; nieces, nephews and friends.
Per her wishes, cremation has taken place. Due to current Covid-19 concerns there will be no public service at this time. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Doris' name to the charity of their choice.
