Stephen Gary "Steve" Pfeiffer
1961 - 2020
He was born on December 4, 1961 in Akron, the son of the late Sherman W. and Gwen L. (nee Bartholomew) Pfeiffer.
Steve was a sexton/custodian at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church for several years. He enjoyed cooking, his dogs-Jack and Izzy, wood working and the outdoors-especially doing yard work, and reading the Bible. He taught his grandson, Israel, how to whittle, sand and paint the things that he made. He loved teaching his granddaughter, Tuesday, how to make jewelry. His greatest joy was spending time with his friends and his family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his loving wife, the former Mary (nee DeVore) Michaels, whom he married on September 26, 1997; his step-children, Jimmy Michaels and April Snider-Michaels; his grandchildren, Tuesday Susanne Michaels and Israel Valentine Snider. His brother, Tracy (Debbie) Pfeiffer, also survives; along with many friends and other family members that mourn his loss.
Other than his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his step-son, Jeff Michaels Jr. in 2001; and his brother, William Pfeiffer.
