On Sunday, June 21, 2020 our beloved brother John C. Callahan left his earthly shackles after a long and valiant battle with lung cancer and has forever 'Gone Fishing'. Born December 21, 1951, John was preceded in death by parents, John W. and Lillian E. Callahan. He leaves behind loving siblings, Kathleen (Dan) Byers, devoted care giver sister Connie (Bob) Hall, Dee (Larry) Sutphen and Dan (Becky) Callahan. In addition he also leaves two generations of Nieces and Nephews and special friend 'Debbie'. To his radio buddies, "J.C.Bama" will meet you in the air waves.
The rest of us bid you "Farewell. Roll Tide John. Roll Tide."
Keeping with John's wishes, there will be no funeral services. Cremation has taken place. An old fashioned Irish Wake is planned for a date in the near future.
