Beverly Joan Lewis, "Bev", age 81 of Newton Falls, Ohio, formerly of Akron, Ohio, died on June 1, 2020 at her home.
She was born on July 9, 1938 in Akron, the daughter of the late John C. and Margaret (nee Casto) Jones.
Beverly was a graduate of Hower High School and she had attended Stark State College. Beverly loved sailing the ocean and spending time with her friends. She owned and operated several beauty shops in the area.
Survivors include her loving children, Keith Lewis of Port Charlotte, FL and Kendra Lewis-with whom she lived; her grandchildren, Dallas Lewis, Nick (Katie) Eddleman, Nathan Eddleman, Shana Lewis, Rachael Lewis and Mark Lewis; 9 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson. Beverly is also surviving by her siblings, Barbara Boyles, Dennis (Linda) Jones and Sandra Smith.
Other than her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her grandson, Bryan Lewis.
There will not be any calling hours and cremation will take place.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron.
