I worked with Ralph at Goodwill for many years. He was always a good guy to talk about every subject under the sun. He was a man of the people and a friend to all. He was funny, energetic, thoughtful, and intelligent. He inspired me to get back into skateboarding at the age of 40! Time will tell if that was the best idea but I’m glad he did. He loved 90s alternative and metal, and we used to share music regularly. I once described my first skateboard deck to him from when i was a kid. He knew exactly which one it was as he was a skateboard historian. The next day on my desk was a miniature version of that deck. Ralph was such a generous and thoughtful friend. I still have it on display and will treasure it always. I am saddened and shocked by this news. My heart goes out to all his family and loved ones.

Dear Tom and my dearest friend Susan,
I am so very sorry for your loss. Susan, I know this tragedy comes after you have lost so much already and it’s cruel and unfair. I know losing Ralph is the worst thing that ever happened to you, that you have lost a piece of yourself, that this loss is permanent and unbearable. I also know that Ralph won’t suffer anymore and he will always be a part of you and that you will eternally be a part of him.
Susan don’t you dare doubt yourself. God made you just the way you are and he knows that you are a good mother and a good person and how much you love Ralph. He knows how much you are suffering. Lean on him. He is with you every minute of everyday even when you can’t feel him. And you can lean on me too. I will always be your friend. I love you. You are in my heart forever.

My nephew Ralph AKA/ Ralphie, to me was always kind, loving, gentle and respectful. He loved his family and tried to do the best he could at whatever the given task was. He will be surely missed by his family and all that knew him. May he rest peacefully now with our Lord and Savior.
I love you, Aunt Pam

I worked with Ralph every Tuesday at Serra Honda. He was always very professional and very helpful to others. Every Tuesday evening, he would always try to help stock the water in the fridge and empty the coffee at the end of the work shift even if he was busy. Ralph always found a way to try to help out the Honda team. He was a great leader to us. I will miss you. Sending my deepest prayers to all his family and friends.

I’ve been trying to find the right words for days, but I just can’t. I don’t know how to say goodbye. I don’t know how to let you go. You are the brother I always wished for. I am so grateful for the moments we had together and I will cherish every one of them forever. I am beyond lucky to have been part of your life. I miss you terribly. You have a piece of my heart with you. Thank you for being so wonderful to me. Thank you for being my big brother. Our world will never be the same.

I had the privilege of working with Ralph at Serra Honda. He was truly a great coworker who could always put a smile on your face. We always joked about being middle aged men and being hooked on video games particularly Destiny. You will be missed Ralph.

What a tremendous loss. I worked with Ralph at Serra Honda. He always made me laugh. He had such a great sense of humor. We would sit and chat for a while about life and his love for his animals and how much he loved to cook. My heart is broken As I am sure many other hearts are broken also. My heart goes out to his friends and family. Heaven gained another angel way too early.

Dear Susan and Tom.
My heart just breaks for the two of you.
Ralphy loved to laugh , and I remember all the good times; taking the boys to scouts, haunted hay rides. Michael Jackson jackets and cook outs.
When there are no words, Sue, we cling to our favorite memories.
Love, Lee (Bill) Sweeney
