1948 - 2020

Shiela Diane (nee Yoho) Eiseman, age 72, formerly of Akron, passed away Friday, March 20,
2020.

She was a graduate of Akron East High School in 1966 and later attended Akron University where she received her degree in Alcohol and Drug Counseling.

Shiela was passionate about helping those in her community overcome addiction as a chemical and drug counselor at Oriana House, Inc. in Akron, before retiring in 2008. Shiela enjoyed playing softball with friends and cheering on her two favorite football teams, the Cleveland Browns and the Ohio State Buckeyes.

She enjoyed traveling to Niagara Falls, watching the Wizard of Oz, as well as, collecting Marilyn Monroe memorabilia.

Shiela was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Mary (nee Hartline) Yoho; her sister, Debi Freeman; her brother, Evie Yoho; and her wife, Janet Kay Allio.

She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who loved to spend time with all of them.

She is survived by her two sisters, Cathy Talley and Nancy (Russ) Hensley; her two children, Sherry
Greene and her boyfriend, Ed Harp, and Van Eiseman and his wife, Gena; her grandchildren,
Scott Huxtable, Dallas Greene and his wife Samantha, and Lance Eiseman, Maya Eiseman and Desirae Huxtable and her partner Lacey Roberts; and her great-grandson, Morgan Huxtable along with numerous nieces, nephews, friends and her best friend, Darlene Treat Farnesworth.

The family would like to express thanks for the wonderful help and care given by Select Specialty Hospital of Akron, as well as, the doctors and nurses of Summa Akron City Hospital.
