Steven M. Lowers, "Steve", age 43, of Alliance, Ohio, formerly of Lakewood, Colorado, went to rest peacefully on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 after a very long battle with a brain tumor.
He was born on July 12, 1976 in Alliance, the son of James Lowers of Sebring and Patsy (nee Clapsaddle) Smith of Alliance.
Steve graduated from Alliance High School and attended Mount Union College. He owned and operated Lowers Hardwoods in Lakewood, Colorado for many years.
He enjoyed biking, hiking, camping, however, his greatest joy was spending time with his kids, being a dad.
In addition to his parents, survivors include his children, Jackson Wyatt Lowers and Kinsey Rae Lowers; his step-father, Orm Smith; his brother, Jeff (Michelle) Lowers; his step-sisters, Bonnie (Marty) Holmes, Tammy (Craig) Partin and DeDe (Dennis) Betz; many nieces and nephews; and his former wife, Heather Lowers.
All services will be private.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron, Ohio.
