Donald A. Dudones, 77, of Akron, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. He was born to parents Bernard and Olive Dudones on April 13, 1942 in Akron.

Preceding him in death are his parents, brother James, and son Kurt.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Carol, of 39 years; children, Anne-Marie (Keith) Martin and Zachary (Karen) Dudones; grandchildren, Hailey, Joshua, Benjamin, and Marlie; granddaughter expected in April, Nora; brother Richard (Janine) Dudones; and nieces and nephews.

Donald was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He retired from Consolidated Freightways. He also belonged to the Goodyear Boating and Yachting Association, and Teamsters Local 24. Donald was a skilled craftsman, mechanic, and jack of all trades. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

A celebration of Donald’s life will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron OH from 10am-12pm with a service at 12pm.
