1948 - 2019

Ernest R. "Uncle E" Buchanan, 71, went home to be with the Lord on October 13, 2019.

Ernie was born in Mogadore, Ohio to Carl and Mary Jane Buchanan on February 1, 1948. He graduated from Garfield High School in Akron then enlisted and served the United States Marine Corps. Ernie served in the Vietnam war and he was a member of AA for many years. He worked security for Securitas USA for about ten years.

He was an avid bowler, enjoyed fishing, and spending time with his family. Ernie simply enjoyed being around people and making them laugh.

Other than his parents Ernie was preceded in death by his brothers; Bob, Larry, Ray, Don; sisters, Carol, MaryAnn.

He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 19 years, Pamela Buchanan; daughter, Mattilica Harper; sons; Dylan Harper, and Jerry (Jessica) Harvey; brother, Carl Buchanan; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Services and interment will be at a later date at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery 10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, OH 44273. Please contact the family for further information.
