Wendy (Hammond) Ebert, 49, passed away unexpectedly at home on October 5, 2019. A resident of Brimfield, she was born in New Brighton, PA and previously resided in Lisbon, OH. She was a devoted wife, a canine mom, a loving daughter, sister and friend. Wendy was employed at ServiceLink for 17 years and previously worked part time at Rogers Community Auction and Grand Valley Inn. She enjoyed dancing and spending time with her husband, family and friends.

Wendy was preceded in death by her father, H. Wayne Hammond. She is survived by her loving husband, Raymond Ebert; mother, Emma Hammond; step-sons, Matthew and Mark; siblings, Cindy (Norm) Shaffer, Tim (Lou Ann) Hammond, Tracy (Lonnie) Betts; sisters-in-law, Rena (Tim) O'Hara and Darlene Weigand; nieces, Chelsea, Jenna, Wendi, Courtney; nephews, Ross, Justin, Travis, Rick, Tim Jr., Mike; fur babies, Hank and Willie; and other great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 11am - 7pm on Thursday, October 10 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Funeral service at 7pm. Cremation will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the family for funeral expenses.
