Shirley R. Dyser, 85, passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, September 4, 2019. She was born on June 22, 1934 in Akron and graduated from Garfield High School. Shirley spent much of her time studying the Bible, vacationing to her favorite places, watching baseball and college football, dining out, bowling with her coworkers and spending time with her family.
Preceded in death recently by her husband of 62 years, Horace; father, Raymond; mother, Evelyn; brothers, William and Robert, she will be sadly missed by son, Billy (Wanda); grandson, Matthew; sisters in-law, Mary Lou and Virginia; nieces, nephews and friends.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the caregivers at Harbor Light Hospice, Our Home Health and Bayada Home Health for their loving care of Shirley.
The graveside service will take place Monday, September 9, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Hillside Memorial Park, 1025 Canton Rd., Akron. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Shirley's name to the Cleveland Clinic Akron General Justin T. Rogers Hospice Care Center, 3358 Ridgewood Rd. Akron, Ohio 44333.
