Kenneth Paul Horvath, "Kenny", age 66 of Akron, Ohio, died on Sunday, July 14, 2019 at Rose Lane Nursing Center in Massillon.

He was born on January 30, 1953 in Barberton, Ohio, the son of the late James and Mary (nee Trpka) Horvath, Sr.

Ken was an honorably discharged US Army veteran serving during peacetime.

Kenny enjoyed playing his guitars, fishing and playing with his nieces and nephews. Ken also loved his 1985 IROC-Z. He was also one great debater!

Survivors include his siblings, John (Laura) Horvath, James Horvath, Jr., and Maritta (Kip) Smith; his nieces and nephews, Renee, Brady, Katrina, Aaron, Emily, Stormy, Colton, Lacy and Chris; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Luke, Jessie, Timmy, Serenity, Kilee, Kylar, Maddox and Lucie.

Other than his parents, Kenny was preceded in death by his brother, Larry James Horvath.

Per Kenny's request, there will be military services at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio, at a later date. Please, keep checking Newcomer's website for information or contact a family member.
