Donna M. Sinley, 64 , went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 8, 2019.

Born and raised in Wooster, she was a resident of Akron for 42 years, and was a retired homemaker. An avid lover of Jesus Christ and voracious reader, Donna loved many things, including tending to her garden, cooking, and crafting.

Preceded in death were her husband, Neil; parents, Arlene Mae and Paul Edward Smith Sr.; brothers, Charles, Paul and Richard; and sister, Catherine.

She is survived by sons; Mark, Matthew and Rob Hicks; sister, Joan D. Gordon; granddaughters, Tristen and Taylor; dear friends, Edith Hartley and Julie Berlyak; and faithful and fuzzy companions, Calli (dog) and Abbi (cat).

In lieu of flowers, please consider; reading Colossians 3:16, donating to your local humane society, or - try to be a good person.

A funeral service will take place on Monday July 15, 2019 at 11am at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, OH 44305, with an hour of visitation prior. Interment to follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at 12:45pm.
