In Memory Of
Jacqueline Frances "Jackie" Berg
1932 - 2019

Jacqueline Frances Berg "Jackie", 87, left her Earthly life surrounded by her closest loved ones on Sunday, July 7th, 2019.

She was born on June 26, 1932 in Brooklyn, NY, and spent most of her life living in Ohio and Virginia. Jackie married her "precious love," Edward on February 6, 1954. He preceded her in death in 2003.

Jackie will be deeply missed by her children Victoria Berg-Allen of VA, Gregory Berg of CA, and Kenneth Berg of Akron, OH; grandchildren Jayson Holloway, Autumn Grace, Kaitlin Allen, Brandon Allen, and Nick Allen, all of VA; great-grandchildren Hunter Holloway, who shared the same birthday as Jackie, Colton Holloway, Lucas and Leo Allen, and Zoey and Marcus Allen; godchild Tonette; dear friend Sister Jean Thurin.

She worked as a homemaker, and was quite the social butterfly. Jackie was a member of the Twinsburg Senior Center, past President of the Colonial Heights Senior Center, and was an avid bingo player. She loved going out to eat, and was very fond of the color lilac. Jackie was the Minauskas family historian- there wasn't a date or event that she couldn't recite from memory. She enjoyed sharing meals with her neighbors, and remembering folks' birthdays and special events with a card.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 11 from 9:45 AM until the 10:30 AM Funeral Mass, at Sts. Cosmas and Damian Church, 10419 Ravenna Rd. Twinsburg, OH 44087. Private burial at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, OH. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a Pet Rescue of your choice in Jackie's memory. Condolences may be sent to 1904 Marks Ave., Akron, OH 44305.
