In Memory Of
Harold L. "Twig" Sizemore
1958 - 2019

Harold L. Sizemore, 60, of Mogadore, passed away on February 24, 2019. He was born on June 14, 1958 in Akron, Ohio. He grew up in the Ellet community. He belonged to St. Matthew Parish for many years.

Harold was a hard working man who worked as a construction foreman for 34 years. He worked for Kenmore Construction for 24 years and retired from Miller's Construction after 10 years. He belonged to the Laborers' Union #894.

He was an incredibly active man who loved spending time outdoors. He enjoyed camping, gardening, and walking with his wife and dog, Milo at Wingfoot State Park. He cherished spending time around the campfire with his family and friends.

Harold was a talented handyman who could fix anything, and was called upon many times by family to help. No request for help ever went unanswered. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it.

Harold was considered a master chef and a grill master by his family and friends and took great pride in preparing meals for many of the family functions over the years. He concluded every gathering with "thanks for eating here!" He was known for his homegrown hot peppers, homemade BBQ sauce, and fresh pasta.

Harold loved the Cleveland Browns. He was a USSSA umpire for softball. Harold had a great sense of humor and was known for being a little ornery. He loved playing pranks on his nieces and nephews.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Karen Sizemore; his in-laws, Orlando and Laura Pronio; and niece, Lisa Marie Milburn (Pronio).

He will be deeply missed by his wife of 35 "GLORIOUS" years, Tina Sizemore; his furry best friend, Milo; sister, Phyllis Sizemore; brother, Denny (JoAnn) Sizemore; sister-in-law, Pat (Dave) Womack; brothers-in-law, Louie (Marie) Pronio, and Joe (Kathi) Pronio; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Friends and family are welcome to visit on Friday March 1, 2019 from 5pm until 7pm at Newcomer 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. A prayer service will take place at 7pm.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation in Harold's name to Donate Life Ohio at www.donatelifeohio.org.
