Rickey "R.J." Bennett, 64, passed away on January 13, 2019. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps during Vietnam. R.J. retired from Beltz's Lawn and Garden Equipment and then continued to repair tractors and small engines from his home. He loved his family and was the best PawPaw ever. He is survived by his wife, Jamie Sue Bennett; daughter, Kristy Bennett; stepchildren, James Smith, Roger Smith, Nicole Smith, Jeff Needham; and nine grandchildren. R.J. was the Commander for the past eight years for the Army Navy Club 102 on Massillon Rd. He devoted his heart and soul to his club and fellow veterans. Per R.J.'s wishes, cremation will take place and he will be laid to rest at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.
