Rosemary J. Wilkinson
1949 - 2019

Rosemary J. Wilkinson, 69, of Barberton, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2019. Rosemary was born on June 7, 1949 in Akron, Ohio to the late Carl and Edna Wilkinson. She attended Wadsworth High School, but lived the majority of her life in Barberton. She retired from the Barberton School System.

Rosemary became a mother at young age, and she would tell you it was one of her greatest gifts in life. Her children could do no wrong. She greatly loved her family, and was a dedicated mother, step-mother, grandmother, step-grandmother, and friend to many.

She had many loves in her life: margaritas, traveling, Long Islands (top shelf--as long as Tim was buying), and birthday cake. She truly loved her country and those who serve. She was a fun-loving woman with a great sense of humor.

Rosemary will be deeply missed by her children, Tim (Cindy Bach) Carr, and Donna (Amy) Walters; siblings, Joyce, Mark (Saint Wendy), Dale, and Danny; grandchildren, Ryan, Nick, Ross, and Stevie; step-grandchildren, Theo, Jonathan, Leah, Logan, and Brutus; step-great-grandchildren, Sabrina, Sydney, and Sylas; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; best friend, Sandy Gotto; and the Goforth Family.

In addition to her parents, Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Goforth.

Friends and family are welcome to Newcomer 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, to visit on Saturday January 19, 2019 from 9am until 11am. A funeral service will take place at 11am.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to the Harry Donovan Jr. Valor Home at www.fcsserves.org, under the Valor Home Summit County designation.
