Diane M. Shamblen, age 52 of Ravenna, Ohio, died on Friday, January 4, 2019 at her home after a lengthy battle with cancer.

She was born in Akron, Ohio on February 17, 1966, the daughter of Judy (nee Leinwand) Ross and the late Thomas M. Ross.

Diane was an STNA working at The Woodlands in Ravenna. She enjoyed church, the outdoors, and the holidays. Diane went fishing and riding with her husband on his motorcycle. She was a member of the United Church of God in North Canton.

In addition to her mother, survivors include her loving husband, Gary K. Shamblen, whom she married on June 16, 2011; her children, Thomas Michael See, Hollie See, and Emmalee Lawrence; her step-children, Keith Shamblen and Katrina Shamblen; her grandchildren, Makala See, Madison Burr, and Taylor Short. Her siblings also survive, Debbie, Darlene, and Dalelyn.

Other than her father, Diane was preceded in death by her son, Larry J. "LJ" See.

Per Diane's wishes there will not be any services or calling hours and arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron.
