William A. Lemmon, 90, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2018 after battling recent health issues. He was born November 1, 1928 in Akron to late parents William F. and Laura Lemmon. Bill was hard working, retiring from Goodyear after 44 years of service and through self-motivation conducting a real estate career at the same time. During his leisure time, he enjoyed spending time with family, reading the bible and upholding those values. Bill was a longtime member of the Worldwide Church of God and recently a member of the Living Church of God. He was a well-respected role model and family-oriented man. Bill was a proud veteran of the US Armed Forces.

In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Janet (Heldman), and son, David A. Lemmon. He is survived by his children, Gary (Tonya), William C. (Mikki Miller), and Laura L. (Jerry Gross) Lemmon; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Lamb; and close friends of many years, Linda Brittian of North Carolina and Gene Davis of California.

Visitation will be held from 11am -1pm on Friday, December 21 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Funeral service at 1pm. Interment Hillside Memorial Park, Akron. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Living Church of God or a charity of your choosing.
