Earl Gene Curley, age 68, of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, died at Altercare of Cuyahoga Falls on December 1, 2018.

He was born on July 24, 1950 in Steinman, Virginia, the son of the late Robert and Bessie T. (nee Harrison) Curley, Sr.

Earl graduated from North High School in 1969 and was retired from General Tire as a laborer. He enjoyed traveling, movies, music, swimming, and working on cars. He loved to work with his hands. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.

Survivors include his children, Earl Lamont Curley, Chanita Ann Cleveland, Eric James (Latricia) Curley, and Caleeah Nicole Curley; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; his siblings, James T. Curley, Bobby Anne Curley, Robert Curley Jr., Irene (William) Forrester, Alfred (Phyllis) Curley, Harold Curley, and Joe (Ditra) Curley; and many nieces and nephews. His best friends, Glenn Brown and James Sledge, also survives.

Funeral services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at 12:00 PM, where Bishop Jerry Jones, Jr. will celebrate Earl's life.

Family and friends may visit at the funeral home from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM on Thursday.
