Judy "Moe" M. Carlton, 78, of Akron, passed away on September 22, 2018. Judy was born and raised in Akron, and graduated from South High School, where she met the love of her life, Jack. She was very outgoing and enjoyed being around people, which was reflected in the various jobs she held over the years including Bank One, Firestone Credit Union and lastly, Chapel Hill Christian School - South. Together with Jack, they raised their family in Firestone Park spending time involved in numerous youth sports.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Jack; parents, Albert E. and M. Margaret Warters; and grandchildren, Tricia and Jason Carlton. She is survived by her children, Jack (Judy) Carlton, Jeff (Lori) Carlton, and Julie (Dan) Gump; brother, Danny Warters; grandchildren, Jeffery Carlton, Autumn Carlton, Cameron "Bubba" (Haley) Gump, Paige "Peachy" (Clinton) Bowen, and Rylee "Noodie" Faith; and soon to be great-grandchild to Cameron and Haley.

Visitation will be held from 4-8pm on Friday, September 28, 2018 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. A private service will be held Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Akron. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Chapel Hill Christian School in her memory.
