Dolores Devin Bowers, 86, she went home to be with her Savior and Lord Jesus Christ, her husband Jack Sr., and son, Jack Jr. on August 7, 2018. A longtime resident of Cuyahoga Falls, she was born May 26, 1932 in Akron to late parents, Richard and Hortense Dugger. Dolores was an active member of the Kent Baptist Temple. She enjoyed taking family trips to Canada, reading her Bible and watching classic Hollywood movies. Dolores was a devoted employee with the A&P for over 20 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Bowers Sr.; son, Jack Jr.; and 7 brothers. Dolores is survived by her daughter, Nancy (Joe) McGinnis; grandchildren, Dan (Jen) Robbins, Rob (Alissa) Ripley, Brian Bowers, and Kevin Bowers; and great-grandchildren, Nathaniel and Ethan Robbins, Logan Holzapfel, Mason and Parker Ripley.

Visitation will be held from 12pm-1pm on Monday, August 13, 2018 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Funeral service to begin at 1pm. Interment at Crown Hill Cemetery, Twinsburg to follow. The family would like to thank Crossroads Hospice and the staff at Altercare of Louisville for the care Dolores received.
