Betty E. Baughman, age 63 of Mogadore, Ohio, died on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at her home.

She was born on October 26, 1954 in Akron, the daughter of the late Charles Victor and Mary Hazel (nee James) Taylor.

Betty was a 1973 graduate of Garfield High School and went on and furthered her education and received her certificate as an LPN. She worked for Dr. Dennis McCluskey's office in Modgadore and Akron Community Health Resources (AxessPointe).

Mrs Baughman was a member of the Mogadore Baptist Church; she loved to sew, do crafts, and go to Beulah Beach. Her greatest joy was being a grandmother and being with her family.

Survivors include her husband, Richard Baughman, whom she married on October 4, 1975; her two children, Curtis (Amy) Baughman and Gretchien Baughman; her grandchildren, Collin Fueger, Logan, Jacob, Trenton, and Isabella Baughman.

Other than her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her brother, Neal Taylor.

Memorial services will take place at Mogadore Baptist Church, 3750 Albrecht Avenue, Mogadore, on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 12:00 PM where family and friends may gather one hour prior to the service. Pastor Robert Seymour will celebrate Betty's life.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church in Betty's memory.
