Faye E. Starkey, 77, of Akron, passed away on Monday November 13, 2017. Faye was born on July 27, 1940 in Salem, Ohio to the late Charles and Mary Weaver. She loved to play cards with her siblings on Fridays, and have her children over every Sunday for dinner and games. She loved to bake but was famous for her sugar cookies.

Faye was preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, Homer Starkey; sons, Charles Sayre, Harley and Gary Starkey; daughter, Debbie Starkey; brothers, Don and Glenn Weaver; sister, Margaret Flint.

Faye will be deeply missed by her children, Timothy Sayre, Patricia (Randy) Moore, Daniel (Lisa) Sayre, Catherine Sayre, Pamela (Rob) Greer, James (Barb) Starkey, Carol Young, Larry (Bonnie) Starkey, Roger Starkey, Danny (Alma) Starkey, and Barbara (Paul) Smith; siblings, Avon Graham, Tom (Iada) Weaver, Carol (Jim) Houchen, Kenny (Nancy) Weaver, Martha (Don) Schaal, and Mary (Jerry) Nuzum; and many grandchildren, many many great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and two great-great-great granddaughters, nieces, nephews, cousins; close friends, and especially her best friend, Cathy Black.

Friends and family are welcome to Newcomer 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron OH 44305 on Wednesday November 15, 2017 from 5pm-8pm. A funeral service will take place on Friday November 17, 2017 at Southeast Church of the Nazarene 771 Dunbar Rd., Tallmadge, OH 44278 at 1pm, with calling hours one hour prior.
