In Memory Of
Carolyn S. Wyatt
1943 - 2017

Carolyn S. Wyatt, 74, of Ravenna, Ohio, passed away October 9, 2017 peacefully at home.

She was born September 13, 1943 in Dorchester, Virginia.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, Judge and Ruby Fields, Sr.; her late husband, Emery Murley Wyatt; son, Jeff Hamilton; daughter, Pamela Wyatt; sister, Peggy Boston; grandchildren, Chaz Kortz and Michael Thrash; and great-granddaughter, Payton Dolin.

Carolyn was a wonderful, kind woman who gave so selflessly to anyone who needed it. She prided herself on being an excellent mom and grandma. Her ability to tell it like it is, and knack for always speaking the truth (even if it hurt your feelings) are two things we will miss most- along with all the stories of her life, her home-cooked meals, and her love of playing bingo. Carolyn was the backbone of her family who will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her son, Gregory Hamilton; siblings, Danny (Patty) Fields, Joan (John) McHugh, and Alvin (Suzanne) Fields, II; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren who she loved deeply.

Funeral services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, Ohio, on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 1:00 PM.

Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.

Mrs. Wyatt will be laid to rest in Tallmadge Cemetery.
