Jacilyn M. Cardosy-Fisher, age 58 of Munroe Falls, Ohio, formerly of Martins Ferry, Ohio, died on May 30, 2017 at Akron General Hospital.

She was born on November 10, 1958 in Oregon, Ohio, the daughter of the late Jack and Dolly Brossia Cardosy.

Jacilyn was a 1976 graduate of Fremont Ross High School and went on to Bowling Green State University and graduated in 1980 with a Bachelor's Degree in Music. She was an accomplished pianist and was a composer as she published several works. She also attended Ohio State University to further her studies. She was a music director for several churches.

She enjoyed cooking, playing cards-especially Euchre, gardening, most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, Rev. Van D. Fisher, whom she married on October 31, 1987; her son, Jack (Rebecca) Cardosy-Fisher; her sister, Jennifer (Steve) Kramer; her nephews and niece, Max (Michelle) Kramer, Carl Kramer; her great-niece, Addison Kramer.

There will also be a Memorial Service on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Faith Lutheran Church, 1187 County Road 128, Fremont, Ohio 43420, where family and friends may visit one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the family to help defray funeral costs.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home-Akron.
