Jerry W. Cox passed away on November 23, 2014, after a 2 and half year battle with MDS. He was an auto parts salesman for over 4 decades. He was preceded in death by parents; William and Mary (Lieb) Cox. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Shannon (Deger) Cox; daughter, Mindy; son, Joe; sister, Jean (Gary) Bazzell, and many beloved family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Hospice Care Center, and Akron General Cancer Treatment Center. Memorial service will be held on Saturday November 29, 2014 at 4:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00-4:00pm.
