Mark Hannaman, age 61, entered the Kingdom of God on December 15th, 2012. He was born April 29th, 1951 in Akron, the loving son of Ralph and Harriet Hannaman. Mark was a 1969 graduate of Springfield High School. He was a veteran of the Ohio National Guard and retired from Akron Porcelain and Plastics. Mark loved spending time with his grandchildren and taking a very active role in each of their lives. He enjoyed computers, playing guitar, singing and fishing. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a heart of pure gold.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sylvia Little. Mark is survived by his daughter, Christine (Mark) Ewing; grandchildren, Jade Myers, Coty Story, Sydney Story and Samantha Story; sisters, Diane (Bill) Cameron and Dorothy Hannaman; brother, Ralph Hannaman; adopted daughter, Michelle Cottier. He was blessed with many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call 5-8 PM, Friday, December 21, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
