Mary Ann Hawk, 81, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2016. Mary Ann was born on December 16,1934 in Akron, Ohio to Jay and Terry Curtis. What can we say about mom? Never short for words always speaking before thinking she had NO Filter! Mom never met a dog she didn't love. She fed stray dogs and non-stray dogs alike. In fact, if you had a dog and it came home full, it's because mom already gave him hotdogs. She once gave spaghetti to Suzie's duck and the red sauce on the white duck had the mailman thinking the duck had been shot. In other words, she was an animal lover! Mom always extended her warm heart and open door to all who needed it .The only thing she loved more than animals were her children,Terry, Suzie and Jeff and her grandchildren, Nick Ashley, Natalie, Olivia and Guy Hawk . We loved this woman and she loved us more. She will be deeply missed.

Mary Ann is preceded in death by her daughter, Suzanne Reese; parents; sisters, Sue Conley, Nancy Cole; brothers, Ronald and Donald Curtis.
