Tom Hetrick, 67, passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 in Akron, Ohio. Tom was born on November 23, 1948 in Meyersdale, Pennsylvania. Tom owned and operated Barberton Pump and Well Service. Tom was a avid Nascar fan and loved playing cards with his Sunday night buddies. He attended church at Akron Baptist Temple.
He is preceded in death by his father, Paul Hetrick; sisters, Janet Hall and Vivian Hetrick. Tom is survived by wife, Patricia Hetrick; children,Tommy Hetrick, Brandon (Justine) Hetrick; mother, Cleo Hetrick; sister, Carolyn (Ron) Grady; grandchildren, Ava, Ben and Brandon II and many nieces, nephews and friends who will miss Tom dearly.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, November 28, 2015 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home,131 N. Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44305. A funeral service will follow.
Tom's family would like to give a special thank you to the Palliative Care Unit of Summa and the nurses at Summa at Home. Donations can be made in Tom's honor to Summa at Home.
