Irene M. Simone
CUYAHOGA FALLS -Irene M Simone, 94, passed away on October 5, 2015. She was born in Port Huron, Michigan on December 15, 1920 to the late Frank and Irene Buck. She resided in Cuyahoga Falls for over 50 years and was a member of St. Eugene's Catholic Church. She loved Wahoos Square dancing and camping.
In addition to her parents, Irene was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Carl Simone; and brother, Frank Buck Jr. She will be deeply missed by her sons and daughters-in-law, Chuck and Judy of Mogadore, Dan and Sherri of Cocoa Beach, FL, Rick and Janet of Kent, and Bob and Pam of Akron; thirteen grandchildren; and twenty-two great-grandchildren. The family would like to express special thanks to the staff and nurses at Briarwood Nursing Home for their excellent care and concern.
Family and friends may call on Thursday, October 8, 2015 from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Eugene Catholic Church, 1821 Munroe Falls Ave, Cuyahoga Falls. Everyone please meet at the church. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
