Diana Jean Garey

Diana Jean Snooks Garey went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday August 25, 2015. She was born on December 7, 1952 to the late Max and Kathleen Snooks in Akron, OH. Diana graduated from Ellet High School and worked for the May Company for many years. She was very talented especially with arts and crafts. Her creative touch could be seen in her scrapbooking and card making. Always beautiful works of art.

Diana was preceded in death by her sister in-law, Gladys McLauglin; and brother in-law, Phillip Garey Jr. She leaves behind her devoted and loving husband of 43 years, Joseph Garey; her best friend and sister, Garnet Snooks; and her favorite nephew who was like a son to her, Danny Snooks. She also leaves behind sisters in-law, Arlene Westfall, Mary Cunningham, Nancy Shafer and Linda Williams; and a host of nephews and nieces. Special friends, Amy and Randy Powers and special girls Emily and Kaitlyn Powers; her neighbor and friend for over 30 years, Bobbi Drown. And last but not least her four legged companions, Hershey and Sweet Pea.

Private Graveside Services will be held and she will be laid to rest at Hillside Memorial Park.
